Wayfair Professional B2B Product Proof and Sales Enablement Video: Studio Host Launches Luxury Rentals 21 Days Faster

SALT partnered with Wayfair Professional on a B2B product proof and sales enablement video showing how Studio Host founder Sarah Glidewell used a single-rep sourcing workflow to launch a Lake Michigan rental 21 days faster — handing her client an estimated $5,000+ in early booking value and protecting a full summer revenue trajectory of $10,000 to $20,000+.

TL;DW

We produced a B2B proof-driven case study video for Wayfair Professional featuring Sarah Glidewell, founder of Studio Host. The story shows how a single-rep sourcing workflow helped a luxury short-term rental designer launch a Lake Michigan property 21 days early — delivering an estimated $5,000+ in early booking value for her investor client and protecting a full summer revenue trajectory of $10,000 to $20,000+. From one 1.5-day production window, we delivered a long-form case study, four short-form social and TV cuts, and a b-roll package Wayfair can extend into future campaigns.

  • We framed furniture sourcing as a revenue lever, not a design decision — directly connecting workflow speed to investor outcomes.
  • A 1.5-day Bucking Creative capture plan delivered the long-form case study, four social and TV cuts, and a reusable b-roll package from one production window.
  • Macro product shots and install details turned quality claims into visual proof that justifies premium nightly rates.
  • By grounding the story in AirDNA market data, we gave B2B buyers a clear financial frame: the platform does not just save time — it protects money.

The Challenge

In the luxury short-term rental market, every day a property sits dark costs real money.

Wayfair Professional needed a B2B sales enablement video and product proof case study that showed how its platform helps design consultants move faster without cutting quality. Not a polished room reveal. A speed-to-revenue argument with a measurable answer.

The story centered on Sarah Glidewell, founder of Studio Host — a design firm that outfits investment properties for high-net-worth clients across Michigan's luxury short-term rental market. Sarah's clients are not homeowners. They are investors. Their core question is financial return: launch dates, nightly rates, and yield protection.

SALT delivered a long-form case study video, four TV and Instagram cuts, and a reusable b-roll package from one 1.5-day production window. The outcome was a proof asset showing a 21-day faster launch, an estimated $5,000+ in early booking value, and 12+ total assets Wayfair could use across web, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and sales conversations.

The gap between a gutted house and a live booking is where those investors either make or lose money. According to 2026 AirDNA data, luxury lakefront rentals in Northwest Michigan generate upward of $1,000 per night during peak summer. Three lost weeks in July is not a scheduling inconvenience. It is $5,000 to $21,000 in uncaptured revenue — gone before a single guest checks in.

Wayfair hired SALT to make that case on camera.

Our Approach

We Built a Visual Sales Argument, Not a Testimonial

In a 1.5-day production window at the Lake Michigan property, we captured Sarah's workflow from sourcing decisions through install details and final readiness. Every shot was mapped in advance. Every interview question was built to surface a business proof point.

We call this the Bucking Creative capture model. Rigorous pre-production means maximum output per shoot hour. From one 1.5-day window, we delivered the long-form case study video, four short-form social and TV cuts, and a comprehensive b-roll package Wayfair can extend into future campaigns.

We Made the Workflow Visible

We centered the narrative on Sarah's single-rep Wayfair workflow — the operational lever that let her bypass the chaos of managing 15 separate vendors. The edit shows the contrast directly: one rep who understands the timeline, the scope, and the stakes, versus the fragmented sourcing that delays most competitors.

That contrast is where the value story lives. And we built every shot around making it visible.

We Made Quality Tangible

Investor clients need proof that "hotel-grade" is not just a positioning claim. We used macro-photography and tactile b-roll to let product quality land on screen — durable textiles, furniture finishes, and surface details that justify premium nightly rates. The camera made the case that better sourcing protects better yields.

We Made the Math Clear

The B2B ChallengeHow SALT Showed the Solution
Investors demand durable, high-end products to justify premium nightly ratesMacro-photography of Wayfair products validated quality without a single product claim
Fragmented vendor coordination causes massive launch delaysEdit framed the single-rep workflow as the operational engine behind Sarah's speed
Sarah needs to prove financial results to win new investor clientsData-driven narrative centered the estimated $5,000+ client value delivered

Revenue callouts tied workflow speed to booking outcomes. By documenting a 21-day launch acceleration and connecting it to Northwest Michigan peak-season rate data, the edit gave B2B buyers a clear financial frame: this platform does not just save time. It protects money.

The Impact

Sarah handed the Lake Michigan property keys back to the investor 21 days ahead of schedule. At peak Northwest Michigan rates, that 3-week window carries an estimated $5,000+ in early booking value — and protects a full-season revenue trajectory of $10,000 to $20,000+ based on 2026 AirDNA market data.

The finished case study gave Wayfair Professional a concrete B2B proof asset and gave Studio Host a stronger client-conversion tool. The video positions Sarah not as a designer who makes rooms look beautiful — but as a consultant who makes investor timelines work.

For decision-makers evaluating the platform, the message lands clearly: sourcing speed is a revenue lever. One that compounds every summer.

This project supports our app and product video production work because it shows how a B2B platform video can turn workflow, customer proof, and measurable value into a sales-ready product story.

It also supports our commercial video production work because one production created a long-form case study, TV cuts, social edits, and b-roll for a larger campaign system.

For buyers comparing app promo or software demo partners, this project shows how workflow storytelling and measurable customer outcomes can turn a platform story into a sales-ready case study film.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does video content help B2B platforms like Wayfair Professional?

B2B buyers need process proof, not product claims. Video testimonials from real professionals like Sarah Glidewell show prospective users the exact workflow, timeline, and financial ROI they can expect — and pass on to their own clients. That builds trust faster than any static product page or feature list.

What made this video more than a talking-head interview?

We built a visual argument. Instead of just filming Sarah talking about speed, we showed her workflow in action: macro-photography of products, b-roll of the install process, and data overlays that connect sourcing decisions to investor outcomes. A standard testimonial describes a result. This one proves it.

How did SALT deliver 12+ assets from a 1.5-day shoot?

We planned interview beats, b-roll lists, and usage formats before production started. That is the Bucking Creative model — rigorous pre-production that maximizes every hour on set and delivers serialized content including the long-form case study, TV ads, and social cuts from a single production window.

Why focus on client revenue instead of design aesthetics?

Studio Host clients are investors. Their core question is financial return: launch dates, nightly rates, and yield protection. By framing the story around recovered summer revenue potential, we helped Wayfair speak directly to the financial priorities of their core B2B audience — not the design industry watching from the sidelines.

What is a single-rep sourcing workflow and why does it matter?

Traditional design projects require coordinating 10 to 15 vendors for furniture, fixtures, and décor. Sarah works through one Wayfair representative for key sourcing decisions. That eliminates logistics overhead and mismatched delivery windows, directly accelerating the property launch date — and the investor's first booking.

What deliverables did SALT produce for this Wayfair project?

We delivered 12+ assets from the 1.5-day shoot: the long-form B2B case study video, two Glass Door Crises cuts (TV and Instagram), two Godsend cuts (TV and Instagram), and a comprehensive b-roll package for Wayfair's extended marketing use.

How does SALT make financial ROI measurable in a video?

We build the data frame before production starts. For the Wayfair case study, that meant grounding the story in Northwest Michigan peak-season rate data and connecting Sarah's launch acceleration to a concrete revenue estimate. The camera captures the story. Pre-production builds the argument.

Can this format work for other B2B platforms?

Yes. Any platform with a measurable workflow benefit can use this model: interview proof, process visuals, and outcome metrics aligned to buyer priorities. If your platform accelerates time-to-value, we can document it in a way that converts.

We loved the video and feature. Wayfair helped us resolve all of our last-minute issues, and seeing the final production made our clients and our guests feel that much more special. Three weeks for summer bookings is probably $5K!

[00:00] Three weeks in the summertime is several thousand dollars that we're missing [00:04] out on. [00:05] And so if we've got a wayfare professional rep who can respond quickly [00:09] and understand the scope of the project, understand the timelines of the [00:12] project, [00:13] it saves us so much money and makes us more money because we get to launch it [00:17] earlier online. [00:18] Hi, I'm Sarah Glidewell, one half of the car wells, and this is my project [00:22] wrapped. [00:23] There's just a big gap in the market between hotels and short-term rentals. [00:29] We really wanted to kind of fill that gap where we were offering a quality [00:33] product [00:34] that felt hotel-grade but was in a residential home. [00:38] So when I'm looking for a lake house, I really want something that's got a lot [00:41] of character [00:41] that I can't build into it. [00:43] And I got to see the existing cedar walls, the height of this ceiling, [00:48] the view of the lake and the priority of the views of the lake throughout the [00:52] house. [00:53] That's what screamed to me that this was one that I could make feel modern [00:56] but still have that vintage flair that stayed attached to it. [01:00] This was the biggest project that we've done. [01:03] It just was a complete gut and remodel. [01:07] Having one rep to deal with consistently that is kind of emotionally involved [01:12] in my project [01:13] just like I am has just been such a savior in so many ways. [01:16] If I didn't have a wayfare professional design these houses, [01:19] I would be dealing with 15 other reps and it would be chaos. [01:23] Now I can go into a property and I can really, if I wanted to, [01:26] design the entire thing from top to bottom with selections from Wayfair. [01:31] But when it comes to actually selecting the furniture for these properties, [01:34] it's a little strategic. [01:36] You have to really be intentional about where you splurge and where you save. [01:40] Wayfair having the option of both really high-end and budget-friendly options [01:45] makes it really easy for us to outfit these B&Bs. [01:49] And so to be able to even look at rub counts or weight capacities on chairs [01:54] or reviews that people will leave as well [01:57] where they actually will show a photo of the product in the space. [02:00] It's a huge difference in how we can actually outfit a property without [02:04] actually seeing the furniture [02:05] before we put it in the space. [02:07] Wayfair professional is such a godsend on these projects. [02:11] Wayfair is the only place that I can go where I know I'm going to get something [02:14] quality [02:15] I'm going to have a rep to support me and I also am going to be able to get it [02:18] on time.
